Yayasan Teratai gives in excess of RM700,000 per year to support our own programmes or to other organizations.
In the area of Healthcare the money goes to Haemodialysis Centres, Palliative Care Centres, Home for the Aged and Help Lines.
We have donated to 13 Aged Care Organizations and Orphanages and 20 Healthcare related organizations.
In Education we support needy families either directly or through schools.
Presently we support needy students in 35 schools and organizations related to education in the Kinta Valley.
We also support Soup Kitchen organizations in Ipoh to ensure a simple meal is a available for the needy.
To date Yayasan Teratai has donated over Twelve Million Ringgit Malaysia (RM12 million) to worthy causes and in support of our own activities.
It is our modest contribution which we hope has made a difference to the lives of many.
Our Contributions Towards Education
Financial Assistance on education fee
Financial assistance were given to needy and deserving primary and secondary school students within the state of Perak.
Study loans and grants
Study loans, grants, half-loan half-grants were given to needy and deserving Malaysian students. Pursuing undergraduate courses at local public universities and selected private universities/colleges.

English Enrichment Program
With the objective to provide supplementary platform and extra learning opportunities for the poor and needy students improve their English language skills, we have worked with rural schools in Perak to sponsor supplementary English classes to students of the school.
Our Contributions Towards Social and Welfare Activities
We provided funding for social and welfare activities undertaken by NGO’s and other non-profit organization within Perak. Donations were and are being made towards the support of charities such as:
- Welfare Homes for abandoned and neglected children
- Welfare Homes for Homeless, abandoned and neglected old folks
- Rehabilitation centres for retarded and disabled people
- Non-profit Hospitals and hospices
- Non-profit haemodialysis centres, strokes centres, cancer centres, dementia centers.
- Shelters for abused women or children or both
- Societies, Associations and Foundations providing information and support to the blind, the deaf, the sick and the underprivileged.

In addition, we also provide monthly financial aid to disable individuals, senior citizens and poor and needy families in enabling them to meet their basic living expenses.
From 2001 to 2018, Yayasan Teratai have disbursed more than RM12 million to society.
